Why work with a health coach to balance blood sugar?
-
Everyone wants to be healthy but it’s hard for people to make the right changes. There are lots of reasons for this and so much confusion over exactly what to do. A Health Coach can help you create meaningful and lasting change that include healthy lifestyle habits and keep you motivated and accountable.
-
Our blood sugar is the master controller that dictates our hunger, our cravings, and our energy. We feel our best when our blood sugar is balanced; not too high or not too low. Balanced blood sugar helps keep our brain healthy, our energy levels stable and mood and weight balanced.
-
However, when disrupted, our blood sugar can lead to increased sugar cravings, irritability, poor sleep, brain fog, anxiety, low energy and weight gain, and in the longer term, chronic disease such as diabetes, heart disease and Alzheimer’s.

What People Say
“Since the birth of my child four years ago I have tried hard to find a bit of time for myself to be able to focus on regaining my strength. I hadn’t managed to have much success. With the support of Jen, I have managed to take simple steps that have made a huge difference. I have become stronger both physically but also in my ability to say no and give myself time each week.
Knowing I was having a weekly session was a huge support. Jen was easy to talk to, non-judgemental and positive in helping me make those changes. I am sure I will look back at this time as a pivotal time in improving my overall health and wellbeing.”

Coaching, therapy, and counselling are all forms of support that aim to help people improve their lives. They can overlap but have different approaches and are used for different purposes. It's important to understand the differences to determine which is the best fit for your specific needs.
Therapy is typically used to treat mental health conditions, such as depression or anxiety disorders. It involves exploring and resolving emotional, psychological, and behavioural issues. Counselling is similar to therapy, but it focuses more on providing support and guidance to help individuals deal with specific life challenges.
Coaching is less focused on resolving past issues and more on supporting individuals to achieve specific goals and improve their lives in the present and future. It is more solution-focused, goal-oriented, and action-oriented and often focuses on areas such as personal growth or self-development. However, coaching still explores conscious or unconscious blockers or ‘limiting beliefs’ that may be in the way, even if that means delving into the past to then move forward effectively.

Because mums are often overlooked! Coaching for mothers is important because motherhood brings unique challenges and transitions that can be difficult to navigate. Coaches who specialise in working with mothers can provide tailored support and guidance to help mothers overcome these challenges, build skills and resilience, and feel heard, validated, and understood. By specialising in coaching for mothers, coaches can offer a safe and supportive space to help mothers navigate their motherhood journey and thrive.
This can be particularly important for mothers who may feel isolated or disconnected from others and need a supportive, non-judgmental resource to help them navigate their motherhood journey.

Pricing depends on your needs and which package you book. I also run occasional group coaching and offers to make coaching accessible. The first call is free, and from there, we will discuss pricing options and payment plans in more detail.
Think of coaching as an investment. Imagine feeling full of energy, confidence and life. That is priceless.

Research has shown that online session are effective both in terms of outcome effectiveness, such as symptom reduction or increase in quality of life, and also in terms of client satisfaction and capacity for establishing a good client coach relationship.
It also lowers the barrier to access support by eliminating the need to physically attend a session. This is especially beneficial for busy mothers who may struggle to find the time or resources to attend face-to-face sessions.
